About Reap

REAP is a not-for-profit, organization working in partnership with individuals and other like-minded organizations in reaching the unreached, and showing the love of God to the vulnerable and the destitute.

adopts and creates new projects that will help people reach their full potential in Life and in God.

At REAP we believe that God created all men and women in HIS image. We are all His people, whether rich or poor, whatever shade of skin or colour. Yet, one sees large inequalities among people born into differing circumstances not of their own doing. Because of this, REAP wants to help people in need from all walks of life.

REAP was born out of a vision of a God-fearing family who love God and love people, and have a deep desire and passion to see people reached with the love of Jesus Christ.

MV Thomas often says: "We want to reap a bountiful harvest of souls!"

REAP's programs and projects are based on the Biblical model of discipleship which Jesus lived and taught, as well as His care for the poor and needy.

Evangelism and education are at the core of our work of reaping! Since 1990 many lives have been transformed through the ministry of REAP, and many lives go on being transformed every day. This is also in the area of physical and social need.

James Thomas stresses the need to use local people, and locals resources, to reach and help their own communities. We need to end the expectation of dependency on (others) the West. This is why REAP equips people to be self-sufficient through establishing small businesses and training them in their operation.

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
